Creating Value for Humanity
To be a team that recognizes social needs, develops solutions and creates projects focused on helping others.
Brought together under Düzce Science High School, we are a 40-member engineering team. As we turn ideas into designs and designs into working robots, we grow our culture of engineering, teamwork and entrepreneurship together.
Hypium is a student engineering community founded at Düzce Science High School and working for the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) For us, robotics is more than a competition; it is an environment where we learn to solve problems, build, research and turn ideas into reality as a team.
Our 40 students take responsibility across mechanics, electronics, software, CAD, media and business development. Each subteam develops its expertise while working toward the same goal: building a reliable, competitive and well-engineered robot.
We complement our workshop skills with communication, leadership, budgeting, sponsorship and social-impact work. Hypium aims to prepare its members not only for competition, but for their future journeys in engineering and technology.
Gracious Professionalism. Even while competing, we respect one another and our opponents.
Build by learning. Every mistake becomes the blueprint for the next prototype.
Spread our wings together. As students from different disciplines, we unite around shared goals.
Our Mission. To build a sustainable team culture where students learn science, technology and engineering through hands-on practice.
Our Vision. To become a team that reaches from Düzce to national and international FRC stages—building, sharing and inspiring its community.

FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC), dünyanın farklı bölgelerinden lise öğrencilerini mühendislik, yazılım, tasarım, strateji ve takım çalışması etrafında buluşturan uluslararası bir robotik programıdır. FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) çatısı altında yürütülen program, öğrencilerin gerçek bir mühendislik ekibine benzer şekilde çalışmasını hedefler.
Each season introduces a new game and field challenge. Teams analyze the game, define the robot architecture, prototype mechanisms, build mechanical and electrical systems, write software and perform drive tests. At competitions, teams play in three-team alliances, demonstrating both technical performance and team culture.
The season game is announced and teams begin developing strategy.
The robot is designed, built and tested during the build season.
Teams form alliances and compete on the field.
Top-performing teams advance toward the world championship.
FRC is more than a robotics competition; "Gracious Professionalism" ve "Coopertition" it is an experience that combines engineering, teamwork and sportsmanship through its core values.
An FRC robot is never the product of a single department. Throughout the season, decisions in strategy, design, manufacturing and software affect one another. At Hypium, our subteams work as connected parts of one engineering process.
We first analyze the game requirements and identify the tasks that create the most value. We then test ideas with rapid prototypes and move successful solutions into CAD, manufacturing and software. Once systems come together, intensive testing, debugging and drive practice begin.
Our goal is not simply to make a working robot, but to make data-informed decisions, divide responsibilities effectively and leave a stronger team foundation after every season.
Rules, scoring and field tasks are analyzed.
Robot priorities and match approach are defined.
Mechanism ideas are validated through rapid testing.
CAD, mechanical and electrical systems are integrated.
Control, autonomous and sensor systems are tested on the field.
The robot, drive team and strategy come together in real matches.
Our main goal is to create value for humanity. We want to use technology not only to compete, but to develop projects that reach people in need, create lasting impact and bring together young people capable of making the world better.
To be a team that recognizes social needs, develops solutions and creates projects focused on helping others.
To pursue the Rookie All-Star Award in our first FRC season by demonstrating a strong team culture, technical development and social impact.
To perform at a level that can take us to the FRC Championship and represent Düzce on the international FRC stage.
To build long-term collaborations with FRC teams, companies, educational institutions and technology communities.
To help develop young engineers who can solve problems, build, collaborate and act with social responsibility.
We visited special education institutions and met with students. We place solidarity, inclusion and social benefit alongside technical achievement at the center of our team culture.
We prepared and sent report-card gifts to our graduating 12th-grade schoolmates. We believe that a small gesture can create a strong sense of belonging and solidarity.
We organize in-school training that supports the technical and personal development of team members and fellow students. Our aim is not only to gain knowledge, but to multiply it by sharing it within the team.
We meet with other FRC teams to exchange experience, build new connections and bring FIRST's collaborative culture into our team.
Hypium consists of 40 students across different specialties, led by two team captains. Each department manages its responsibilities while collaborating throughout decision-making, production and project processes.

Hypium operates under Düzce Science High School. Our school's emphasis on scientific thinking, technology and innovation forms the foundation of our engineering approach.
Through training and workshop activities at school, we aim to give students hands-on experience in 3D design, electronics, software, coding and teamwork.
Official School Website ↗Hypium FRC, in April 2026 Düzce Fen Lisesi çatısı altında resmi olarak kuruldu. Düzce'nin first and only FRC team olarak yola çıkarken hedefimiz yalnızca bir yarışmaya katılmak değil; şehrimizde kalıcı bir mühendislik, üretim ve STEM kültürü oluşturmaktı.
Hypium takes its name from the ancient heritage in Konuralp, Düzce: Prusias ad Hypium Our name draws inspiration from the history of our city, carrying that heritage into the future through technology and engineering.
“Inspired by our past, we build the future.”
Hypium was founded as 40 students united around shared goals.
A team congress was held and two team captains were elected.
Our FIRST Robotics Competition journey became official when we received our team number.
We established partnerships with our first sponsors and began exchanging knowledge and experience with other FRC teams.

FRC requires the coordinated management of robot parts, manufacturing resources, electronics, software infrastructure, travel and organization. Every contribution to Hypium supports not only a robot, but students' engineering experience and the growing technology culture in Düzce.
